Off–season advantages: Our planners recommend considering weddings during the off-season (late October to March). During this period, you’ll find more affordable venue rentals and unique flower options. Many wedding vendors and bridal boutiques also have sales to clear out gowns for the upcoming year, saving you some money for your wedding budget.  

Season and sentimental dates: Think about the season and weather for your wedding photos. Choose a time of year that matches your desired aesthetic. Opting for a date that holds sentimental value for you and your partner can make your celebration even more special. However, avoid public holidays and monumental days to prevent travel difficulties for guests and heavy traffic on your wedding day.

A, B, C Method: use this method to manage RSVPs efficiently: 

• A list (All in attendance): Guests you know will definitely attend, such as parents, grandparents, siblings, the bridal party, and close friends 

• B list (50% attendance): Guests you hope can attend but might have other commitments, like neighbors, old school friends, colleagues, or distant relatives. 

• C list (courteous): Guests who likely can’t attend but you still want to invite, such as out-of-state or country friends and high-risk attendees. 

Clear RSVP process: Have a clear RSVP date and provide an easy way for guests to RSVP. A QR code that links to your wedding website can simplify the process for your guests. 

Photographers and videographers: If you have a specific photographer or videographer in mind, ask if they recommend anyone they enjoy working with. This can help you find a trusted vendor.  

DJ packages: Many DJs handle both the ceremony and receptions. Check what packages they offer as DJs can provide structure as an MC, relieving family members from making announcements.
